Quarterly Nonprofit HR Forum
Designing Nonprofit Workplaces Where Neurodivergent Talent Can Thrive
In this session, HR leaders and practitioners will learn the basics of neurodiversity, including common language, diagnoses and conditions, and experiences of the neurodivergent professional.
From there, we'll discuss potential barriers the traditional recruitment process might present for neurodivergent applicants and ways to mitigate them. Finally, we'll wrap up with ways to retain these talented individuals, including accessible accommodations.
Samantha Kelly, Founder, Beyond Neurodiversity
Samantha Kelly is a neurodivergent advocate and trainer who helps businesses build more inclusive, high-performing workplaces. Through workshops, coaching, and leadership development, she brings a strength based, real-world approach to neurodiversity at work. With experience spanning the HR industry, consulting, and advocacy, Samantha is known for making complex ideas relatable — and creating space where all minds can thrive.
