Quarterly Nonprofit HR Forum
Topic: Culture Without Chaos: Balancing Flexibility, Accountability, and Well Being to Become an Employer of Choice
Join the Leadership Council of Nonprofits and Clark Schaefer Strategic HR for our first Quarterly HR Forum featuring panelists to explore the topic: Culture Without Chaos: Balancing Flexibility, Accountability, and Well‑Being to Become an Employer of Choice.
Nonprofit leaders are being asked to do more than ever—offer flexibility, prevent burnout, and support employee well‑being—while still delivering on mission‑critical work. How do you create a workplace culture that feels supportive and sustainable without sacrificing accountability, clarity, or results?
Join us for a dynamic panel discussion focused on how nonprofit organizations can become employers of choice by striking the right balance between flexibility, accountability, and well‑being. Our panelists will share real‑world insights on what works, what doesn’t, and how strong leadership and clear expectations can reduce chaos, build trust, and support both employees and the mission.
You’ll walk away with practical insights on:
- Common misconceptions about being an employer of choice (hint: it’s not just pay and perks)
- How unclear expectations and weak accountability contribute to workplace chaos
- What flexible work really looks like in nonprofit organizations
- Where policies, flexibility, and trust intersect—and sometimes collide
- How to avoid burnout while still meeting mission‑critical demands
- Setting healthy boundaries that support both employees and the organization
This session is approved for SHRM Certification Credit.
Confirmed Panelists:
- Dimity V. Orlet, J.D.
Executive Director, Pro Seniors, Inc. - Jessica Esterkamp
President & CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati - Sheryl Fleming, SPHR
Sr. HR Business Consultant, Clark Schaefer Strategic HR
