Topic: Culture Without Chaos: Balancing Flexibility, Accountability, and Well Being to Become an Employer of Choice

This panel discussion explores how non profit organizations can become employers of choice by clarifying expectations, balancing flexibility with accountability, and supporting employee well being—without losing sight of mission critical work. Join us for practical insights from leaders on reducing burnout, setting healthy boundaries, and building trust through clear, consistent leadership. Topics for discussion include:

• Common misconceptions about being an employer of choice (it’s not just pay and perks)

• Why chaos often comes from unclear expectations & lack of accountability

• What flexible work really looks like in non profits

• How policies, flexibility, and trust intersect (and sometimes collide)

• Avoiding burnout while still meeting mission critical demands

• Setting boundaries that support employees and the organization

As part of our workforce initiative A Force for Good, we are pleased to launch a new quarterly Nonprofit HR Forum for you to meet with your peers for presentations and discussions on high-level issues affecting our nonprofit workforce. These in-person meetings will be open nonprofit staff with HR responsibilities in their role. Each quarter's topic will be announced in advance, based on interest expressed by participants.

We are very grateful to our friends at Clark Schaefer Strategic HR for helping us launch this new offering.
