Laurence Jones co-founded RiskVersity in 2015 and CyberSure in 2021. He brings 22 years’ experience in accounting, risk management, finance, and business operations. He is responsible for client management, risk audits, insurance program management, strategic relationships for client resources and talent resources. He has experience working with K-12 schools, nonprofit organizations, public entity organizations, higher education, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, professional services, and restaurant clients. Laurence is active in Cincinnati’s business community. Laurence served as partner at the accounting firm Brixey & Meyer and a senior accountant at Ernst & Young before starting RiskVersity and CyberSure. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Cincinnati.
Eku Williams is a Partner and Practice Leader at CyberSure. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in information technology, consulting, and risk management. In his role at Cybersure, he is responsible for conducting cyber, risk & vulnerability assessments, and IT security specific audits while assisting organizations to mitigate risks in their environment. He is an award winning professional, having been awarded the 2023 Outstanding Alumni award from the University of Cincinnati Lindner Business College, the 2022 Technologist of the Year by the Gaskins Foundation, and was a recipient of the Cincinnati Business Courier Forty under 40 award. In addition to consulting, Eku speaks on various IT and cyber topics in Cincinnati and various conferences throughout the US.

Program Overview
Search Inside Yourself takes an evidence-based approach combining neuroscience, leadership, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. The program provides practical tools that can be applied immediately at work and in your personal life. We start with a foundation of mindfulness, and build the core emotional intelligence domains that lead to outstanding leadership:

Program Structure

Mission in Action: Amplifying Your Voice Through Advocacy

Engaging in advocacy is the most significant way nonprofits can serve their missions and influence their communities. While nonprofits are vital voices in shaping public policy, they often lack the capacity to incorporate advocacy as a core element of their mission. To empower nonprofit professionals as advocates, we are offering a comprehensive learning series designed to teach the skills, strategies, and processes of effective advocacy. Facilitated by Gina Marsh, this series will equip participants with actionable tools to strengthen their organizations’ advocacy efforts.
Development of this series was made possible through a grant from The Murray and Agnes Seasongood Good Government Foundation.
Program Overview
The series will include the following in-person sessions, 9:00 – 11:00 am, every other Tuesday from Sept. 30 – Nov. 25. You may register individually or for the full series.
Sept. 30: Policy and Advocacy 101
Gain foundational knowledge about policymaking and specific steps you can take to start advocating on behalf of your organization.
• Advocacy and its importance to the nonprofit sector.

Learn about the different funding sources that fund nonprofits at the local level.

Advancing Black-Led Nonprofits | A New Program Exclusively for Leadership Council Members

- A 1-on-1 brainstorming workshop (1.5 hour duration) for each of the first six member organizations who request them.
- Workshops will be made available through May 2022 and scheduled at the leader’s and Flywheel’s mutual convenience.
- Organization may have up to three C-level participants.
- Flywheel will select relevant coaches to participate based on the challenge the organization wishes to address.
- Following the workshop, Flywheel will provide a one-page summary of findings.
