About: Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank partners with local social service agencies to provide free diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. Our mission is to eliminate the existence of diaper need in our community so that all babies have a chance to be healthy, happy, and safe.  We were started in October of 2015 and have been experiencing rapid growth and success since then.

Essential Duties

Administrative

  • Greet all visitors and ensure they are properly signed in/out and have appropriate PPE.
  • Field phone calls and return voicemails.
  • Respond to general emails and schedule some appointments
  • Accept deliveries during business hours
  • Organize incoming and outgoing mail
  • Purchase office and other business supplies as needed  

Program

  • Assist with filling monthly partner agency orders.
  • Occasionally assist with volunteer groups, especially larger ones.
  • Manage community diaper drives by answering questions, providing information or documents, scheduling deliveries of donated product, and sending thank you notes.

Development

  • Assist in processing check donations by ensuring they are properly recorded in our systems.
  • Assist with addressing envelopes and writing thank you’s to donors
  • Curate content for the monthly newsletter

Skills needed:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple duties and priorities in deadline-intensive situations
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with Google Drive
  • The ability to handle conflict, confrontation, and uncomfortable situations head-on and with grace
  • Should be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for extended period of times
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack (we will train you)
  • Able to flourish in a creative team environment as well as operate independently
  • Ability to demonstrate and uphold our core values (Advocacy, Engagement, Inclusion, Innovation, and Respect)

Schedule and Flexibility:

Our Administrative Assistant will need to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-3pm and Fridays from 9am-12pm. The additional hours may be worked remotely.

We are closed between Dec. 25th and Dec. 31st.

  • Manages practices to ensure clients meet admission criteria and are properly authorized to receive services prior to admission into the agency.
  • Coordinates and leads steering teams to drive access management and development.
  • Coordinates collection and evaluation of data as it relates to access and admissions.
  • Works with supervisor, funders and managed care entities to coordinate contracting, and clinical authorization and re-authorization processes.
  • Leads and coordinates with internal and external groups to manage relationships, services, and data as it relates to hospitalization of GCB clients.
  • Provides clinical supervision to staff including: reviewing treatment plans.
  • Provides administrative supervision to staff including performance evaluations, hiring, and training.
  • Provides supervision to subordinate supervisor(s).

Requirements for Program Manager:
  • Licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board at LISW or LPCC required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills.

GCBHS has an immediate opening at our Price Hill office in Cincinnati for a Program Coordinator/Therapist to provide oversight to a DBT therapy program for individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and development disabilities.  This position also provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

The ideal candidate will have an Ohio LSW or LPC and experience working with individuals receiving treatment for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities.  This is a great position for someone with a BSW/LSW or MSW/LSW or MA/LPC who wants to get experience and attain their independent license!  We offer $1,500 per semester tuition assistance for a MSW degree.  We also offer free license supervision hours and continuing education credits.

  • Provide day to day coordination of the program.
  • Monitors referrals and ensures all paperwork is completed for new clients.
  • Provide counseling, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment to individuals and families.
  • Work cooperatively with Hamilton County Developmental and Disability Services to actively promote all services (including, diagnostic, general therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), SAFELIFE, and clinic).
  • Provide individual, couple, family and group therapy as dictated by client needs.
  • Formulate assessments and treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of immediate supervisor.
  • Implement the specified treatment process, analyzing and evaluating the client’s progress.


Position Requirements:

  • Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC required.
  • Experience with co-occurring mental health and development disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of a variety of treatment approaches and modalities including:  psycho-dynamic, psycho-social, solution focused, family therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, systems approach, strength based approaches, cognitive behavioral, substance abuse, sex abuse treatment and other evidence or research based approaches.
