We appreciate you! Thank you for your membership in the Leadership Council and your willingness to lead, learn and grow with other members in our region to ensure a stronger Nonprofit Sector to serve our communities.

We recently asked for your feedback on how we are doing and the Membership “Survey Says”:

  • 100% of respondents would recommend LC membership to other Nonprofits
  • 98% of members believe their membership to be of value relative to membership cost
  • 83% of members renewed their membership in 2017

It is now time to renew your calendar year membership.  You can renew your membership online with a credit card and/or paypal payment or check by clicking HERE.

Be sure to renew your membership by December 31, 2018.

Here are a few of the highlights of 2018:

  • In 2016, we became hosts of the Securing the Future conference, started 17 years ago by a Leadership Cincinnati class. This program is designed to provoke, stimulate, inspire and motivate nonprofit leaders, board members, funders, and others to gain a broader understanding of current and future trends on the local, national and global level so they can help the organizations they serve to secure the future. In 2018, we had a very large crowd listen to Dr. Bob Johansen, a distinguished fellow at Institute for the Future, share what we need as leaders in the future, followed by terrific breakout sessions. Save the date for March 6, 2019  to join us to hear Alton Fitzgerald White - a broadway star who played "Mufasa" in the Lion King 4308 times! " My Pride - mastering the art of daily performance"
  • Leaders Circles raise the bar by challenging each other to create and implement goals, brainstorm ideas, and support each other with total honesty, respect and compassion. The participants in this peer-to-peer coaching program act as catalysts for growth, devil’s advocates and supportive colleagues. 100 people participated in these groups from September to May, 2018. Said one of our 2017/18 participants: “I really valued the experience to be open and vulnerable about my professional struggles in a safe place. I have recommended it to other staff.”
  • Additional cost savings programs were implemented with ADP (Human Capital Management) & Mutual of America (Retirement plans)
  • Membership has grown 85% since 2014, to over 170 nonprofit agencies. What does this mean for you? More connections, more opportunities to collaborate, and more resources are available to you.

What can you expect to see from Leadership Council in 2018?

  • NEW 3 part series - turning nonprofit strategies for diversity, equity & inclusion into practice, in partnership with Interact for Health
  • Compensation & benefits survey
  • NEW “Legal Nuts & Bolts” for nonprofits – 2 part series in partnership with PBPO
  • Leadership Challenge 4/24-26, and October 16-17 in partnership with Steve Coats, ILA,  Camp Joy, Valarie Willis
  • Targeted programming to fit the needs of small organizations

Leadership Council for Nonprofits is here to help you build capacity, collaborate, connect and take advantage of cost savings opportunities.  We appreciate you and hope you will reach out to us any time we can be of assistance to you.   Thank you for renewing your membership for 2019 by December 31, 2018.
